Theo founded AfriIntel to provide independent intelligence and reputational due diligence support to investors, advisory firms, law firms and companies operating across African markets. He specialises in human source enquiries and corporate investigations, with a particular focus on obtaining grounded insight through trusted local sources.

Over the past decade he has worked on intelligence and investigative assignments across more than twenty African countries, supporting private equity firms, multinational corporates and advisory practices on transactions, disputes and complex market-entry decisions.

Prior to AfriIntel, Theo worked as an analyst at two leading regional risk consultancies, where supported corporate intelligence investigations and produced country risk briefings and across the continent.

Nicole is a Principal Consultant at AfriIntel specialising in reputational due diligence, risk intelligence and investigative research. She focuses on assessing legal, regulatory and reputational risks to support investment, commercial and strategic decision-making.

Prior to joining AfriIntel, Nicole was a Senior Associate at a leading South African law firm, where she worked on professional indemnity matters, litigation and regulatory investigations. Her work involved navigating complex disputes, professional conduct issues and sensitive claims requiring detailed analysis of legal and reputational exposure.

Nicole’s legal background provides particular insight into matters involving due diligence, litigation history, regulatory scrutiny and professional conduct exposure.
